  • In my opinion, my overall evaluation of the Japan-ASEAN Student Conference is a special event for youth in every country. It gives the chance to students to share ideas together without considering where those people are coming from or what religious they are respecting, but we have the same objective to develop our own country. Firstly, I can say it is an amazing program as it challenged everyone to invent new idea as much as possible, then we bring those idea to combine to find another new solution which can provide to all countries of Japan-ASEAN. After going back to my country, I will share what I have gained from this 10 days program with everyone especially students interested in this kind of exchange program and I will help who has talent but no chance to apply like someone from poor family or disabled.

  • During this period of local program for institutional visit, I got many valuable experiences to learn their elementary school. I know their teaching method a lot of Japanese culture. I know their teaching method and how children are very bright, clever without fear, self-confidence and friendly. I very interested in their children’s control system combined with parents and parents and teachers altogether. So, I determined that I will report all of the Japanese culture, their teaching method and other ASEAN counties education policy. Among them, I really like the children cleaning activities very much. It is similar with our school discipline, but they are very enjoying to clean their environment. They are full of energetic, active and brave. I enjoyed this program very much and respect their morals. Thank you for inviting to your program and I am proud to be a JENESYS2.0 participant.

  • The most impressive program was 3 night 4 days discussion for me. I was not good at discussion, but I didn’t need to worry because I could discuss with other team members happily and friendly. It was very meaningful for me, so that I would like to share all of knowledge from discussion to my partners in Myanmar. In addition, I will try to improve our country’s weakness in education, economy, environment, media and so on. In conclusion, the conference could make me happy, promoted friendship and gave a lot of knowledge. And greatest benefit is that I have many foreign friends. Though this trip to Japan was the first time to visit a foreign country for me, it made me so happy and satisfied.

  • I would like to say ‘Thank you” to all of staff, Japanese friends and ASEAN friends who help me every time and being good friends. This program is precious experience for me because there is the discussion on that open chance for every opinion for everyone and I got good friends from Japan-ASEAN who ready to exchange their cultures. Moreover, visiting at Wakayama is so much fun, all of staff treat me like their family and creating/painting the plate was the best moment of this program. Visiting Japan changes my attitude toward responsibility and adaption myself to lives with others. If I have a chance, I will visit Japan as soon as possible.

  • Honestly for me everything is impressive from day one to our final day. I am very much mesmerized by the technology and the culture of Japan. The advanced technology in Japan has taught me that even the impossible be possible. From the program I also managed to impose my leadership skill and my communication skill. I also made new friends with a lot of people in different countries. This is very much important as we can use this, for networking. All in all, my Japan trip is the best trip I ever had.

  • Four days discussion program helped me to identify social issues in each aspect of education, environment and volunteerism. We discussed about solution and action plan, moreover, we thought deeply about what we can do for contribution to our own community and country. In addition, the program did change my mind a lot and brought to me inspiration as well as motivation to keep contributing to community, also cooperating with others making our countries move forward. We experienced cultural exchanging activities each other and we are making a network of Jenesyst.

  • The discussion program gave me new perspectives. The same discussion topic members gave me hundreds of notification on youth activities by voluntary mind in both Japan and ASEAN countries. Especially, since I have just established my club on my campus, it is so meaningful to share opinions about management with many members who also have their own students’ union. My team is carrying on social contribution from the viewpoint of our life to international cooperation. The biggest notice was that the issues which we hold are common. Even if the countries are different, we are definitely same as a youth, pioneer and person who take action in order to make a difference.

  • The most impressive thing is visiting a high school and a university during the local program in Hakodate city, Hokkaido. Children and youths made me realize that they want to help people inside their deep heart, so that they become volunteers to help society going to be better. In addition, I had a chance to learn and know Japanese way of life. It was really excited and peaceful. After the program, the things that I have to do as my duty is to spread and share what I learnt about volunteerism and social mind to help our world society going to be better way.

  • In my opinion, this program is highly beneficial and memorable. I gained so much experience, I learned the manners and the lifestyle of Japanese people, I made new friends from other countries and I created so many meaningful memories here in Tokyo and Kagoshima. This program not only boosted my determination and passion towards traditional cultures but also made me learn so much about other countries. I really like this program and I really hope that it will continue again and again and that other students will get the same chance as I did.

  • I’m impressed by the modernity of Tokyo city. What I’m interested more is in its modernity, Japan still strengthen their culture. So I can see the collaboration of traditional culture and modern culture in such a big city like Tokyo.

    Indonesia
  • I felt traditional culture is profound to discuss, but worth considering. I found problems which each traditional culture faces are similar each other: lack of time, cost, globalization and so on. Solving these problems immediately is difficult, of course, but we succeeded in taking the first step by discussing earnestly. This program is just beginning, so I will learn more after this program.
